What if a movie had a message that could change lives?

One movie does—The Rally.

Everything about the production, from start to finish, was about reaching souls. From the onset, they endeavored to communicate to all the actors and crew that they were filming The Rally so that people's lives could be changed forever.

Yes, movies are about entertainment and enjoyment, but The Rally goes a step further. It's a gritty drama that follows several families living in a town riddled with crime and corruption. As the local church works to bring positive change to the town, they are confronted at every turn by people who want to keep the city in bondage. But God has different plans. He has sent a team into the city to bring change.

It culminates in one event...brought about by one Church, one God...The Rally.

Casting the Film

The characters in The Rally were specifically created for audiences to identify with. They're flawed and imperfect...some in need of a Savior, others just wanting to fulfill His plan.

Casting was crucial to production as each character in The Rally represents someone who lives in the real world, facing real problems, seeking real answers.

International minister Kenneth Copeland plays Sarka, a crime boss who is determined to change his ways. Being a part of The Rally is one more extension of the mission of Kenneth Copeland Ministries. "Everything we do, everything we preach, every broadcast we come on, everywhere we minister, everything we say and do is prayed, engineered, designed to minister to the people."

Rapper T-Bone plays Sarka Jr., who is challenged by his father to straighten out his ways. His character is torn between the man he could be and the man he's been. Just like his character, T-Bone says, "Once I was filled with anger and madness. Now I'm full of love, peace and joy."

Rallys for Christ founder Rick Reyna played himself—a man hearing from God to change lives one rally at a time. "We do whatever it takes to reach out to the un-churched and the church," says Rick. "The salvation message along with an inspired word from God is always presented."
